The document explains how the EU's agricultural policy meets the EU's commitment to policy coherence for development, which aims to minimise problems for developing countries due to policies.
The new publication reflects the importance of agriculture to development throughout this development-focused year. The European Year for Development (2015) will see the culmination of the international community's work on new Sustainable Development Goals and EXPO Milano.
