PULSE: Propelling EU Platform Directive Transposition into Serbia's Legal Ecosystem
01May2024

This three-year project aims to advance the transposition of the EU Platform Work Directive into Serbian legislation through policy advocacy and research. By engaging with policymakers, government officials, and stakeholders, including labor unions, platform workers, industry representatives, and civil society organizations, the project will advocate for regulatory reforms based on ex-ante analysis. It will facilitate dialogue and collaboration through meetings, workshops, and policy briefings to gather input, address concerns, and build consensus on proposed reforms. Additionally, the project will establish mechanisms for monitoring and evaluating the implementation of the EU Directive in Serbian legislation to ensure effective execution and identify areas for improvement. The advocacy efforts will be supported by research on the characteristics of online and location-based platform workers in Serbia, providing evidence to inform policymaking.
